I tinted the front light bar of my black 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning to hide the pasty-white plastic that the light bar is made of.

I like it to. It looks good on dark colors. That actually looks really nice….
I was pleased to hear they have a special tint that is made for lights. It's black but still lets most of the light through. After seeing how dark it was on the truck I was skeptical that light would actually shine through, but it does.Looks fantastic! Do you happen to know what tint % was used?
I am sorry that is all the information that I haveI like it! Mine coming in AntiMatter Blue and you are right it does stand out more on the darker colors. Please provide as many details as you can so I can check with my local window tinters (who will apply front window tint on my Lightning) to see if they can apply the tint that you had done. Thanks, Walt
The one the guy did in that article had it wraped on the outside and I wondered just how long that would last.Having it sprayed makes more sense to me. I can not imagine being able to properly wrap around all those curves and corners. This is not a flat piece of glass obviously!
That is paint, it’s the same color as the truck. The wavy sections were painted gloss black. What part was used on the grill? Horizontal Aluminum finished part? Looks really good. Thought you were having grill painted? Thx, Walt
I paid $660 for all of it including labor to remove and reinstall the grille and light bar.Ok got it. Wow!!! Looks fantastic! Can you give us a ballpark estimate on cost to paint the grill? Thx, Walt
